There are three more official weeks left for the pregancy....21 days. The doctors appt. today was better than others. I hardly had to wait to see the doctor which was great! She said the baby seems to be in position and the heartbeat sounds good. Each day we get more and more prepared for our little one. Now, we just need to wait and see when he/she wants to enter the world.

Sunny Days
Sunny Days are finally here....at least for a few days....we're looking forward to the time when the warm weather and sunshine will be here to stay.

SHOWERS, SHOWERS AND MORE SHOWERS!
What kind of shower will it be today? In the last 48 hours we've experienced three types of showers. The Nor'Easter brought us heavy and even torrential rain showers yesterday along with very windy conditions. Fortunately for us we weren't effected like so many other people in the area. We were safe and our home was nice and dry!
This morning we awoke to another type of shower....frozen showers! Over night we had snow showers that produced a few inches of snow/slush mix. We were surprised with the white blanket that covered everything....after all it's the middle of April!
The third shower was more enjoyable! Yesterday, Daryn's family and friends surprised us with a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming birth of our baby. It was great seeing family and friends and having them share in the excitement of the next phase of our lives. Thanks Mom Myers and everyone else for your hard work!

Rough Week
Some weeks are better than others. This past week wasn't the greatest as some unfortunate things happened. Mom Bach fell and broke her foot and sprained her ankle at the end of last week. She had to wait until Monday to get casted. Now, she is unable to drive or work for an unknown amount of time. Sitting still and letting her body rest is definately hard for her!
The other unforunate thing that we learned this week was the unexpected passing of my sister's fiance 's mom. Jen and Clay headed to his hometown in GA soon after learning of her immediate health concern. But, soon after that they were notified that she passed away. All of the events this week have been extremely hard on them as well as Clay's extended family. I wished that I could be there to show my support :( Please be praying for them as they grieve the loss of Myra Ann and as they continue to plan their upcoming wedding.
On a better note, today I've completed 36 weeks of pregnancy. The count down is definately on! We can't wait! Any bets on when our little one will arrive?

Baseball and Snow?
Isn't April supposed to be filled with rain showers? What's up with snow showers and freezing temperatures? Thursday we went to the Phillies -vs- Braves Game at Citizen Bank Park. It was the coldest game that we have ever attended. We were bundled up with winter clothes and blankets trying to stay warm. As we watched the game, snow fell and the wind constantly blew at high speeds. It felt more like a football game instead of a baseball game. Plus, to make matters worse, the Phillies had a terrible game and lost!
