Cousins Visit

Ben and Will came to visit Matthew and Nathan!

Monday, June 1, 2009

So far Matthew has taken pretty well to having a little brother! He always is curious what "Nate" is doing and is always wanting to help care for him. We just have to remind him that Nathan is tiny and he needs to be gentle!

Matthew met his little brother!

Since Nathan was in the NICU for the first 3 1/2 weeks of his life Matthew wasn't able to meet his baby brother. So, he finally was able to meet his little brother on Thursday! He was so excited!

Going Home!

On Thursday evening, May 28, 2009, Nathan was discharged from the hospital! We were all very excited and happy that this time finally came!

It's A Boy!

Our second son, Nathaniel Wilson Myers, was very anxious to come into the world on Monday, May 4, 2009! At 9:30pm, Nathan was delivered via emergency c-section, weighing 4lbs 1.5 oz and 17 1/2 inches long. This past week has been very emotional as he was borm premature at 32 weeks and is in the NICU of the hospital. Please pray that he will continue to grow stronger and gain strength so that we may soon be able to bring him home!

Matthew's 2nd Birthday!

On May 2nd, 2009, Matthew turned two years old! We can't believe where the time has gone. He no longer is a little baby or a toddler...he's our little man! Matthew has taught us so much over the last two years and we look forward to all that he will teach us this coming year. We are so thankful for him!
On Matthew's birthday we went to North Jersey to visit Uncle Doug, Aunt Aimee and Ben and to meet Matthew's newest cousin, Will! Matthew enjoyed blowing out the candles on his "Choo Choo" cake and then enjoyed eating it! We had a great day!

Big Boy Bed

On May 1, 2009 we transitioned Matthew to a "Big Boy Bed" in preparation for our new arrival. So far, Matthew has done really well sleeping in his "Truck" bed! (Knock on Wood!)
